Terms of Service for MotoMeet
Effective Date: May 31, 2025
1. User Eligibility
The MotoMeet app can generally be used by anyone who has access to the app through the respective app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). MotoMeet does not set a separate minimum age; the applicable age restrictions of the app stores apply. There are no restrictions based on residence or whether the user is a motorcyclist.
2. Registration
- Registration is only required if users want to create rideouts or join rideouts.
- To register, users must provide a valid email address and confirm it via a verification email.
- Users are required to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- MotoMeet reserves the right to block or delete user accounts in case of violations of these terms or false information.
3. Use of the App
- MotoMeet allows users to create rideouts, find existing rideouts, participate in them, and manage a personal profile.
- Users agree not to post political, illegal, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Violations of these rules may lead to removal of the content and blocking of the user account.
4. Code of Conduct
- Users agree to treat each other respectfully and politely within the community.
- Any form of insults, discrimination, political propaganda, illegal, pornographic content, advertising, spam, or other unwanted content is prohibited.
- Violations may result in content removal and account suspension.
5. Liability
- MotoMeet assumes no liability for content created or published by users.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the app, including technical issues, data loss, or other direct or indirect damages.
- Use of the app is at the user's own risk.
6. Intellectual Property
- The MotoMeet app and all associated trademarks, designs, and content are owned by Jarne Rolf.
- Users retain all rights to the data and content they publish and have full access to it.
- MotoMeet may process and display user data within the app for the purpose of app functionalities.
7. Changes to the Terms of Service
- MotoMeet reserves the right to change these terms of service at any time without prior notice or informing users.
- The current version of the terms is always available within the app and on the website.
- Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
8. Termination
- Users may request deletion of their account by sending an email to contact@motomeet.app.
- Upon receipt of the deletion request, all personal data will be completely removed from the app.
- MotoMeet reserves the right to suspend or delete user accounts without prior notice in case of violations of these terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These terms of service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- Jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or related to the use of MotoMeet, to the extent legally permissible, shall be the operator's place of residence or another legally competent court.
10. Support
Users may voluntarily support the operator via platforms such as Buy-Me-A-Coffee. These contributions are solely intended to cover the app’s operating costs. No entitlement to special services or benefits arises.
